Better if the goal is to end up in print. Nearly everything I do is on screen from beginning to end, so the MS compromise works better for me than the Apple one. Of course now that I use a relatively large screen all the time, both ways look pretty good. (Doesn't Microsoft Compromise sound like a fun Office product?)
